Dr. Wanda’s Book Nook & Resource Center

Our mission is to provide young adults with tools that will increase their chances of success. We believe that every young person should have opportunities to reach their full potential, so our goal is to empower them to do so. Our services include GED Prep, interviewing skills, resume writing, mentoring, computer skills, and finance classes to help young people understand debt. Also, free notary services are available for individuals participating in our program. These services will be provided to teens and young adults ages 16 to 26 years old. Another component of the agency is the Book Nook. There will be a variety of books that can be checked out by program participants. Students will be encouraged to choose a book to read, with an opportunity to gain points on our reward system. The goal is to promote literacy.
