
Dr. Wanda Davidson, MSW
President/CEO

Dr. Wanda Davidson is the President/CEO of Dr. Wanda’s Book Nook & Resource Center. She also serves as a contributing faculty in the MSW Program at the Barbara Solomon School of Social Work at Walden University. Dr. Davidson received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Alabama State University, Masters of Social Work from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and her Ph.D. in Policy Planning, Administration & Social Sciences from the Whitney M. Young Jr., School of Social Work at Clark Atlanta University. Her research interests include educational challenges for youth aging out of foster care and the link between youth in foster care and the juvenile system.
Dr. Davidson has more than 17 years of practice experience in social work. Most of her career has been in the area of child welfare, including foster care, child protective services, foster care adoption and coordination of the independent living program for youth aging out of foster care for the State of Alabama.
